As the name suggests, floating expander pellets are a floating fishing pellet which will expand when soaked. They are a medium-hardness pellet which are low in oil and can be used for loose pellet feeding straight from the bag. When used alongside sinking pellets they provide a comprehensive attractant for both top and bottom feeders.
These pellets are best used as a loose feed, as they can be tricky to use as a hook bait. However, floating expanders can be used in a number of ways, including pre-soaking which can be done the night before you use them. Like other pellets they can easily be flavoured with glugs or flavourings to really maximise your chances of attracting a range of fish.
